Extra Credit Opportunities:

        Urban and Suburban Studies Events List 2010-2011. You can earn extra credit by attending either or both of the fall events listed here-- the talk by Mark Quinn and the film screening of "Worker's Republic" --and writing a short 1-page response. 

       Chicago History Author Series. Some of the presentations in this series being held in Lisle would be appropriate for extra credit in this class. The Dean Milano presentation on rock music scene in Chicago would fit as would the presentations by journalists Joni Blackman and Rick Kogan.
